The "Jet"-dispensing process using piezoelectric valves offers the possibility to release fluid drops without a dispensing tip. The distance between the dispensing valve and the substrate is much larger and can be in a range of 1mm to 100mm depending on the fluid type, the feed pressure and the required positioning accuracy.

"Jet"-dispensing offers outstanding advantages regarding dispensing speed and cost effectivness. Normally there is no need for an accurate Z-axis movement. Additionally "Jet"-dispensing offers improved process control due to the possibility to detect the released fluid drop with common sensors.

We offer several types of piezoelectric dispensing valves for a large range of fluids. We evaluate the optimum valve type based on your application data and the results of our evaluation tests.

In the following you will find general information on typical "Jet"-valves and their application range.

PICO VALVE MV-100
Standard valve design with all-purpose properties. Best for most middle viscous and thixotropic fluids such as grease, oil and most one component adhesives. Perfectl for most UV-curing adhesives and coatings. Valve can be heated up to +100°C.

PICO VALVE MV-100-P2
Standard valve design with all-purpose properties. Best for most middle viscous and thixotropic fluids such as grease, oil and most one component adhesives. Perfect for most UV-curing adhesives and coatings. Valve can be heated up to +100°C.

The 2mm protruding nozzle design allows a reduction of the "Jet" distance and improves positioning accuracy.

PICO VALVE MV-200
Standard valve design with all-purpose properties. Valve / Fluid can be heated up to +200°C. Perfect for a lot of meltable materials such as wax, thermoplastic and hot melt adhesives.
